MONSTER! Man Utd teammates give BIG praise to Casemiro as he plays ‘out of his class’ against Man City

The match between Manchester United and Manchester City ended in a dreary 0-0 draw at Old Trafford.

Since both teams in the Manchester derby were virtually certain not to lose, there was no sense of rush for either United or City to earn a result at Old Trafford.

Despite both teams’ poor performance in the final third, United did play reasonably well, attempting 13 shots compared to City’s 9.

A strong United midfield, led by Casemiro and Manuel Ugarte, was also responsible for the goalless draw. They were successful in winning duels and denying City space.

Casemiro’s teammates take pleasure in their performance.After being passed over for Toby Collyer in January, Casemiro has made a comeback to the team.

The Brazilian is in the flow and is at ease in Ruben Amorim’s midfield after a recent run of games for United.

Casemiro made two interceptions and attempted 11 tackles, winning seven of them. City had to contend with him all the time.

After the draw, Casemiro wrote on Instagram that he had a “good battle at Old Trafford!” and had some positive feedback from his teammates.

In response, Bruno Fernandes wrote, “Different class,” expressing his respect for the midfield player.

Back on the bench, Luke Shaw wrote, “Monster,” along with an applause emoji.

Ruben Amorim supported CasemiroAfter the game, head coach Ruben Amorim talked about how Casemiro’s efforts have won him back.

He clarified: “He wasn’t playing because I realized that he wasn’t the best choice for how we wanted to play at that particular moment, so he kept working.”

“I have the same perspective on my players. They have the chance if we improve our expectations of them. They keep playing if they perform well.

For Casemiro, it was the case. The player gets all the credit. He is and will remain a member of our team.

Ruben Amorim is currently totally committed to Casemiro, as evidenced by the player’s commitment on the field, but his summer situation is still up in the air.

Since Kobbie Mainoo is still out, United will probably start Casemiro and Ugarte against Lyon this week. Nemanja Matic, a former player, may also start for the French team.
