ALEJANDRO GARNACHO got into a fight with a supporter prior to Manchester United’s Europa League matchup with PAOK.
The 20-year-old started the match for the third consecutive game under interim manager Ruud van Nistelrooy after being selected in the starting lineup.
Before Manchester United vs. PAOK, Alejandro Garnacho greeted the crowd, but one of them heckled him.
In response to the fan’s “disrespectful” remarks, Garnacho joked back.
But before the game, the Argentine got into a fight with a fan while he was meeting them outside Old Trafford.
Garnacho’s play in Sunday’s 1-1 tie with Chelsea drew criticism.
And as Garnacho spoke with fans, one fan felt compelled to express that viewpoint.
The supporter was heard saying: “Garnacho, please, you need to pass better today.
“Work on your first touch, score a goal, and pass more effectively today.”
He was observed turning to the fan after signing his autograph and asking, “Why are you not playing?”
Then he turned and headed toward the ground’s entrance.
Fans expressed their disapproval at the decision to express their opinions immediately after watching the video on social media.
“That is impolite of the fan,” one fan commented.
“This is so disrespectful to Garnacho,” remarked a second.
“Idc (I don’t care) sometimes you gotta show some respect, embarrassing,” a third person commented.
“No, this is too far,” replied another.
With six goals and four assists in 16 games this season in all competitions, Garnacho leads the squad in scoring.
Only six United outfielders have played more than 1,000 minutes this season, including him.
