NUMBER 1 PRIORITY: Man Utd contact Brighton over transfer of young goalkeeper Bart Verbruggen – with Andre Onana making plenty of mistakes this season!

According to reports, Bart Verbruggen is being considered by Manchester United to replace Andre Onana.

Since joining from Ajax in the summer of 2023, Onana has made a number of mistakes, and a former player has called him one of the worst United goalkeepers in history.

Ruben Amorim, the new Red Devils manager, is reportedly considering hiring a new goalie in the summer due to Onana’s inconsistent play.

Additionally, he reportedly wants to bring Verbruggen from Brighton to Old Trafford.

Gazetta dello Sport claims that United has gotten in touch with the Seagulls regarding the Dutchman’s availability.

However, there will be fierce competition for the 22-year-old’s services from United.

Bayern Munich, a German powerhouse, is apparently interested in signing him.

The Bundesliga powerhouses are reportedly considering an offer to bring the £60 million-rated goalie to the Allianz Arena, according to the Telegraph.

This season, Verbruggen has made 33 appearances for Brighton across all competitions while recording eight clean sheets.

Despite missing Brighton’s opening two league games of the season, Verbruggen has been crucial to the Seagulls’ chances of qualifying for Europe.
