Man Utd legend Wayne Rooney sends message to Marcus Rashford after REVIVED performance in Aston Villa vs PSG!

After Aston Villa’s Champions League elimination, Wayne Rioney issued Marcus Rashford a clear message.

Despite a valiant effort at Villa Park in the second match, PSG eliminated the Villans from Europe.

One of the more standout players in the 3-2 triumph was 27-year-old Rashford, who even contributed to Villa’s third goal.

After taking on two PSG defenders, the striker sent the ball to Ezri Konsa, who scored.

However, because of the 3-1 loss in Paris last week, the victory was insufficient to guarantee the West Midlands team a place in the Champions League semi-finals.

Wayne Rooney, a legend of Manchester United, was thrilled with Rashford’s Villa performance.

The former striker made it clear that he is excited about Rashford coming back to Old Trafford this summer.

“I hope Rashford returns to Manchester United and performs like he did tonight,” he stated in an Amazon Prime interview.

“That’s what we all want to see as Manchester United fans.”

Rashford lost favor with manager Ruben Amorim and was sent out on loan during the January transfer window.

The forward has improved since switching from red to claret, but he struggled to display his best play until the Portuguese manager took over.

Rashford would like to play at Old Trafford and leave a “legacy” at the club, according to Rooney.

“Marcus Rashford is 100% committed to playing for Manchester United,” he continued.

“He’s a Manchester United supporter and a Manchester boy.

“He had to play, and it was obvious that he would not be playing for the remainder of the season.

In a perfect world, Marcus Rashford would like to play for Manchester United and make a lasting impression.

“Whether that’s possible, I don’t know, but that’s what I’d love to see.”

Following the loss, Aston Villa manager Unai Emery was questioned about Rashford’s future.

Although he acknowledged that it was “difficult” to plan, the former Arsenal manager applauded his efforts against PSG.

“It is hard to plan it now,” he remarked.

“He had an amazing game and is feeling great. We are overjoyed.

“We are happy if he is happy. The situation for the present and upcoming weeks will determine this.

Two Villans were criticized for their mistakes, but Rashford was praised for his effort against the French powerhouses.

Full-backs Lucas Digne and Matty Cash were singled out by Clarence Seedorf for their “unacceptable” behavior, which helped PSG avoid their hosts.
