The 27-year-old, who joined in February and has already scored four goals and provided six assists, was scheduled to play at Wembley.

However, he was forced to miss Saturday’s 3-0 loss to Palace due to a hamstring injury sustained during training on Thursday.

Unai Emery, the distraught manager, disclosed: “He’s hurt.

We tested his hamstring yesterday after he had an injury this week.

“We are going to try to test him each match but he’s injured and probably won’t be available for some weeks.”

With only one month until the season’s last game on May 24, this is awful news for Rashford.

It is the most recent setback for Villa, who lost to Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League and then fell behind Manchester City in the Premier League on Tuesday due to a late goal.

After 76 minutes, Ollie Watkins took the place of the 27-year-old, who had scored a penalty in the first half at the Etihad.

Rashford posted a statement to his Instagram following the loss to Man City.

He said: “Losing a game in the last minutes was tough, but we have to stay focused and be ready for the next game.”

However, his future is uncertain, and that might have been his last game wearing Villa colors.

Villa has the option to purchase Rashford for an estimated £40 million, but he is currently on loan from Manchester United until the end of the current campaign.

However, the England international stated that he has not yet decided what to do next and that a return to Old Trafford may still be in the cards.

Thanks to two goals from fellow forward Ismaila Sarr in the second half and a spectacular goal from their lucky No. 10, Eberechi Eze, the Eagles easily advanced to their third FA Cup final in history.

After considering his loss at Wembley, Emery admitted, “Crystal Palace deserved to win. We faced them four times this year, losing three and drawing one.

“We must accept it and continue playing in the Premier League, where we are on the verge of earning a spot in Europe. We have to control our frustrations.

Rashford might miss all four of Villa’s Premier League games remaining in their quest for Champions League qualifying as a result of the loss.

Later, Rashford was seen all over London when Conor Benn and Chris Eubank Jr. squared off in their family rivalry match at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
