After his performance against Brentford, Kobbie Mainoo’s position in the Manchester United squad under new manager Ruben Amorim is being questioned by supporters.

Mainoo performed admirably under Erik ten Hag last season, but this season he has had form and conditioning issues.

Although Mainoo started against Brentford, the supporters weren’t delighted.

Some others voiced their concerns on social media.

Harvey said, “We need to start having honest conversations about Kobbie Mainoo” .

The Cold: “They still think Mainoo has a future with Amorim at the helm” .

Zinny said, “Kobbie Mainoo forgot how to play football” .

FPL Fraiser: “Mainoo has the opportunity to prove to Amorim that he should be included in the starting lineup when everyone is playing. I don’t believe he did a good job with the opportunity.

Reggie says, “Mainoo in the pivot doesn’t work.”

Pacey: “I really do worry about him. Despite his enormous talent, he hasn’t played well since Amorim joined United. Although he is only 19, he has time, in my opinion.
