Leny Yoro’s injury dealt Manchester United a serious setback in the Europa League final.
As he marched straight down the tunnel during today’s 2-0 loss to West Ham, the French center-back covered his face with his shirt and seemed to be fighting back tears.
Leny Yoro appeared to sustain a foot injury
Yoro injured his foot earlier this season and required surgery, and it seemed like he went down with it.
After being treated on the field, he was replaced right away by Harry Maguire.
The manager placed his head in his hands as a physiotherapist informed Amorim that Yoro was unable to continue.
The 19-year-old was comforted by Maguire, Alejandro Garnacho, and Patrick Dorgu as he made his way to the tunnel.

Ten days before Manchester United’s thrilling Europa League final matchup with Tottenham on May 21, the injury occurs.
One heartbroken fan wrote: “God no, please, this is not happening.” Yoro was hurt.
Then someone else said, “End the season now.”
More stated: “Yoro hurting the same foot that he missed three months with earlier in the season is pretty much the worst case scenario from this game.”
The injury comes just over a week before the Europa League final
It was said by a fourth: “I actually cba with football if heβs injured.”
“We hope it’s nothing serious,” Amorim remarked in reference to Yoro’s injury. I believe it is a little issue, but we will evaluate the player.”
“We need to change things,” the manager continued. Nothing can be changed except by us. We are lacking that sense of urgency, which is difficult to describe.
Ruben Amorim had his head in his hands when Yoro went down
“Everyone’s attention is on the final. In our football club, the final is not the most important event. Many things need to be changed.
“We shouldn’t participate in the Champions League if we don’t improve our performance and play style and develop a sense of urgency to win every game.
“We should simply remain in the Premier League and focus on improving our competitiveness week by week.”
“Changing a lot of things is our football team’s top priority. It’s not only the last one.
However, Spurs star Dejan Kulusevski was substituted after suffering an injury during their 2-0 loss to Crystal Palace, so it wasn’t just United that suffered a setback ahead of the championship game.
