In Sunday’s Vlatko Markovic International Tournament final, the 14-year-old scored twice for Portugal.
Cristiano Ronaldo Jr netted the opener for Portugal Under-15s against Croatia
The No. 7 shirt that his father made famous during the Under-15 match against Croatia was given to Cristiano Jr.
Additionally, the teenager opened the score against the hosts after just 12 minutes.
After a teammate’s crazy run, Cristiano Jr. ghosted into the box from the left flank.
He hit a beautiful first-time shot off the crossbar from a close angle.
After smashing in off the crossbar, the 14-year-old ran off to celebrate
To celebrate his first goal for his country, Cristiano Jr. ran off in the direction of the corner flag.
Along with his teammates, he couldn’t help but imitate his father’s famous “Siu” celebration.
In response, a fan wrote: “Like father like son. The SIU tradition endures.
He performed the iconic Siu celebration made famous by his dad
Someone another stated: “The moment he gets a taste of scoring, he won’t stop.”
“I’m seeing double here, two Ronaldos!” jokingly said a third.
Scouts from a number of European teams, including Manchester United and Tottenham, have shown interest in Cristiano Jr.
Not stopping there, Cristiano Jr. bagged a second goal 30 minutes later, securing a brace and helping Portugal edge out Croatia 3-2 to claim the trophy.
And as Croatia threatened a comeback, he was on the scoresheet once more.
The 14-year-old headed in at the far post to give Portugal another lead with the scores tied at one.
Ultimately, they would emerge victorious 3-2.
Five-time Ballon d’Or winner Ronaldo congratulated his son on his debut for his country on social media earlier in the tournament.
With 115 million followers, a pleased CR7 said: “Congratulations on your debut, son, by @selecaoportugal. “Very proud of you!”
With 33 goals throughout all competitions this season, Ronaldo, 40, has continued to be a prolific goal scorer for Al-Nassr.
However, he has had yet another season in Saudi Arabia without a trophy.
In the Saudi Pro League, Al-Nassr is currently in third place, 11 points behind leaders Al-Ittihad.
Additionally, Japanese team Kawasaki Frontale eliminated them from the Asian Champions League last month.
Since Ronaldo joined in December 2022, Al-Nassr has failed to win the league title.
