Atletico Madrid, Napoli, and Chelsea are allegedly showing renewed interest in Alejandro Garnacho after Manchester United lowered their asking price.
The Argentine winger was originally valued by the Red Devils at £75 million, but according to Sky Italia, the club is now willing to sell him for £55 million, an almost 30% decrease.
Particularly enthused by the updated valuation will be Napoli, who are hoping to replace Khvicha Kvaratskhelia following his transfer to PSG. The Serie A team is still committed to acquiring Garnacho before the transfer window ends on February 3, even if their £40 million offer was rejected.
Garnacho’s significance to Napoli’s intentions was recently acknowledged by sports director Giovanni Manna, who stated, “We are making some assessments.” During Chelsea’s 3-1 victory over Wolves, Garnacho’s agent was spotted at Stamford Bridge, which fueled rumors that the Blues were interested in a possible trade.
Although he is a valuable player, he is not ours.
Even if we are aware that a key player has departed, we must not get ahead of ourselves.
The manager defined a top player, thus there are big expectations.
“But we’ll take action on Napoli’s terms.”
Garnacho and his teammates will return to play on Thursday when they host Rangers, a Scottish powerhouse, at Old Trafford in their penultimate Europa League group game.
